nveiled earlier this year at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Salon, Suzuki
introduced its concept Suzuki Lapin Convertible to the world at the prestigious automotive event. An extremely cute car in its original Suzuki Alto Lapin form, the Japanese manufacturer has decided to offer an unique and viable concept of its highly popular Kei car by removing the roof of the original Lapin, and what we have here is the ‘Rabbit’ Cabriolet! Apparently some people in the Japanese firm had an excellent idea to drop the top of the Lapin in order to “provide potential buyers of the Rabbit (if it becomes reality) the possibility of driving topless with three other passengers. Should the concept come into fruition, we would probably expect some interesting competition in the cabriolet Kei car segment, with the likes of the existing and highly popular Daihatsu Copen as well as
a rumoured all new Honda Beat.
