issan had its Cube; Daihatsu its Materia, Honda has its Edix and now Toyota introduces its newest compact five door hatchback; the all new Corolla Rumion. Bigger than its predecessor the Toyota Bb, the Rumion delivers an amalgamation of distinctive styling and utility due to its cavernous interior and functionality.
When one buys a mini MPV, chances are that he or she adopts an utilitarian approach to life or is simply into “Big Bodies”; an Ebonics euphemism for SUVs or MPVs in America. Well, this particular car we’re talking about perfectly meshes both aspects into one, for the Rumion can be a great item/people mover or a great ICE car decked out with chromed out rims for that bling bling ghetto style gangsta ride you have always wanted, complete with a Tupac’s greatest hits compilation blaring from its speakers. Did I just hear someone say “Word up, homie!”? Despite its Corolla association, the all new Rumion is a very different preposition; despite the sedan-esque prefix that it possesses. The appearance and functionality of this car is the very essence that would make consumers purchase one without any hesitation at all. Designed under the theme of "Relax in Style", the Rumion maintains the basic performance and reliability for which the Corolla name is famed for, while adopting a style appealing to drivers who value individuality and youthfulness. Wrapped in a uniquely and agile package, it offers simple, box like styling that encompasses familiarity and comfort while creating an atmosphere of spaciousness and versatility suitable for a wide range of lifestyles targeted specifically at the Generation Y car owners, didn’t I just mention earlier that it’s a potential bling bling ride? "The Rumion is an intelligent adaptation to the demands of a five door urban subcompact, with style and flair to match its efficiency and utility," said Jasper Lim, Sales Manager at Cars Motor Group Enterprise Pte Ltd espousing the car’s great potential and added, “Singapore is catching up fast to the international trend, which is why we are keen to get the Rumion on the road here.”
