dopting the theme of regality and elegance, the new Toyota Alphard epitomizes the aura of a "stately presence”, signaling Toyota’s intention to create the ultimate MPV.
The Toyota Alphard is a luxury MPV produced by the Japanese automaker since 2002 and is made available in 3 different model lines – namely the Alphard G, X, S and G. Whimsically named after the Alphard, the brightest star in the constellation Hydra, this seven or eight-seater comes very close to being the dream vehicle for consumers looking for performance, comfort and practicality in one complete package. The Toyota Alphard 2.4 S is fitted with features that ensure you have the most pleasant of rides, and packed with enough punch to give you your dose of power driving as well. Toyota presents the Alphard as “the ultimate minivan”, and has given it a facelift to further accentuate this statement. Toyota explains that the exterior of the Alphard emphasizes "elegance" and "refinement". The Alphard is designed to attract consumers adopting a utilitarian approach to life, or those who are into larger vehicles. Carlingual’s Marketing Manager, Wenn Booi, says, “The Toyota Alphard provides functionality for everyday travel, but more importantly, it also provides the accompanying touch of luxury consumers search for.” Consumers concerned with cost-saving need not fret too much as the 2.4-litre gasoline engine has been developed specifically for use in Toyota’s hybrid systems and features a high-expansion ratio cycle that raises efficiency and reduces friction. In many ways, you do get the best of both luxury and efficiency with the Alphard.
