he all-new Forester returns armed with a turbo engine and a more refined exterior. Subaru shows us how a makeover is done.
Eleven years ago, Subaru wanted to capitalise on the smouldering but increasing demand for SUVs. As such, they took the Impreza, gave it a facelift, expanded the cabin space and the Forester was born. The third-generation Forester arrives on our shore and what a far cry it is from the Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) that debuted slightly more than a decade ago. Gone are the frameless doors and straight boxy frame, and in steps a brasher but nonetheless sleeker model. Now available in nine swanking colours, the Forester is certain to garner new admirers with its smoother lines and dynamic power performance. Mr. Glenn Tan, Group Chief Executive of Motor Image Enterprises said, “When Subaru launched the Forester eleven years ago, it redefi ned the industry. It has since
become an icon of safety, dependability and versatility.” Once a CUV that redefi ned the industry, the new Subaru Forester 2.5XT can now be considered an SUV in its own right.
