aving been around in Singapore for close to six years and making its presence felt to the extent that its popularity has made it a choice people mover for families and taxi companies alike, the all new Toyota Wish is set to repeat the feat of its predecessor.
Having emerged as one of the best-selling multi-purpose vehicles (MPV), which the parallel importers could attest to, with empirical evidence pointing towards a figure of more than 6,000 units sold back in 2006, the Toyota Wish has indeed eclipsed the combined sales of all MPVs in Singapore back then. So how would this revised version fare? Mitigating the claims would be its form and function aptly described in the following few paragraphs and Mr Terry Soh, Director of Straits Euro Motors echoes the same sentiments by saying, “The previous Toyota Wish was truly a family favourite with an aesthetic design ahead of its time back then amalgamated with the utilitarian function to ferry seven passengers or transport a relatively large volume of cargo, thus I am sure this updated version would once again be a blockbuster in the new car industry.”
